Shipping in USA

A lot of backers in the USA had their labels printed at the warehouse, but have not seen any further updates. We are going to look into this with GtG (the warehouse) tomorrow. Apologies for not staying on top of this in terms of communications; we are in a new place and have been very busy with that. When we started hearing that books were arriving in the USA we assumed that they were mostly mailed out, but it seems that there are still quite a lot of people who haven't seen any update at all. We will post another update once we learn what progress has been made so far.

We Have Internet Again!

We are in the new place and have working internet now. I am still on a laptop instead of my regular computer, but we will be able to start answering questions and updating everyone. As you've noticed, the USA warehouse is shipping out books. We will ask about the difference between USA and Canada -- USA orders are arriving, and the big difference is that the USA is media mail (cheap but relatively slow), whereas Canada is shipping via a higher class of postage. More information as we get it!

Away for a Couple of Days

Suzy and I are traveling for the next couple of days, so we will be unavailable to answer comments and mail. We have requested an update on shipping from the warehouse, and if we hear back with a revised status in time we'll post it, otherwise the next update will probably be around this coming Monday.

Although there isn't much news to report, the pallet of books left for England for the UK/EU backers several days ago. Once it arrives, we'll get an estimate of how long it will take the UK warehouse to ship them out. The USA warehouse hasn't begun shipping yet; it should be started by the 7th unless there is further slippage in their schedule.
Important Note for Backers in Italy, Spain, and Brazil: The shippers have asked us to provide a tax ID number, for customs purposes, for books shipping to these 3 countries. We will be sending all of you an email to request this number. The email will come from a mythmeregames.com email address. Please either respond to the email with your tax ID number or message us on Kickstarter with it so we can make sure your book gets through customs as quickly as possible. If you message us on Kickstarter, please give us enough information to match your tax ID with your order, such as your name or address. Again, this is only needed from backers in Spain, Italy, and Brazil.

Status Update (basically, Lack of Progress to Report)

Quick Summary: the books are expected to ship to the USA and non-UK/EU countries early in November. The pallet of books going to the UK is expected to be on its way next week. Until it arrives, we probably won't have a good estimate on when the books will be delivered in the UK/EU.
This represents a delay: October is crunch time for games fulfillment, so even though the books are at the warehouse, there's going to be a time gap before they can pack and send them. We could make a fuss about it, but that wouldn't have any meaningful effect on the schedule, and it would be fussing at people who really are genuinely swamped at this time of the year.
We will keep you updated as we get better information about progress. We are still recovering from COVID, so if we sound a bit loopy here or on social media for the next few days, that's probably the reason! :)
